Here are some maps and graphics I have created in the past. I use a variety of different software and applications to produce these images.

False Color Composite

This image was created using a (5 4 3) or NIR, Red, Green wave lengths. Displaying spectoral reflectance in this way can increases the spectral separation and improves the interpretability of the data.

Indevidual Tree Deliniation LiDAR

This is a small ROI from a forest that was mapped from above using Light Detection and Ranging. Using this dataset, i was able to identify and segment indevidual trees.

Landcover Transition Graph

I observed the change in landcover using unique pixel values from over 30 years of landcover rasters. The transitions are displayed in this "Sanky" diagram using Python.

Supervised Classification

By designing my own training data, I was able to conduct a supervised classification of landcover for the Gulf Islands BC

Slope Classification

Using a digital elevation model, I was able to reclassify slope values (1-4) for this Pender Island near Victoria. Plotted using R Studio.

Canopy Height Model

Using LiDAR data, I created a digital elevation model to derive this tree canopy height model for the MKRF reasurch forest.

Map Generation

Using ArcGIS Pro and a veriety of open data sources, I was able to map Vancouver Islands river/stream network and the obstructions caused by daming. This was then used to report on salmon habitate acsessability.

Spectral Signatures

This is a spectoral reflectance graph for a veriety of common cover types. I can use these signatures to segment image pixels into classes and preform a veriety of differnt analysis.
